We need to be eating as healthy as possible these days. I like the recipes you have and have found them easy to follow. I hope to take these ideas to other countries I travel.
Have you seen The Vegetarian Travel Guide at http://www.VegetarianUSA.com? The site has been on the web for over 10 years, and has received millions of visitors. It features over 1,500 vegan & vegetarian restaurants, natural food markets, and food-co-ops around the USA. Plus over 100 links to amazing vegetarian retreats & vacations (worldwide).
My name is Ashwini Sankar and I am an Economist at a pharmaceutical consulting company in New Jersey. Other than my day job, I love cooking and “food traveling”. The reason I am a big fan of your website is that I am a vegetarian and this website gives me a number of ideas everyday in my kitchen. Also, it helps me be adventurous in my many travels. And at some point in the future, I am looking to change career paths and be a food writer.
Every time I look for vegetarian food in town, it is not the gourmet food that I am really looking for. Instead, I always get recommended to the “organic salad” variety of food. Or, I end up going to a great meat restaurant where the meat in the dish is simply taken out to create my vegetarian dish. Both the former as well as the latter lack the flavor or the “kick” that I look for when I travel for food.
Recently, however, I have chanced upon many superb restaurants who feature vegetarian dishes that have the perfect combination of flavors. I would like to contribute in this particular space: I would like to write about restaurants that are open to the concept of gourmet vegetarian cooking as well as those that focus on bringing out unique flavors in vegetarian food.
Can I have an informational interview with you, in this regard? Is this something I can write about and have it published in your website?
